Xuanbi is produced in Jing County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province (formerly under the jurisdiction of Ningguo Prefecture, and its paper production is named after the prefectural capital of Xuancheng, hence the name "Xuanbi"). It is one of the four famous pens in China.
